Delta Dental of New Jersey, Inc. is authorized to sell dental coverage in New Jersey and to market dental coverage in Connecticut for Delta Dental Insurance Company. We are soliciting business for companies headquartered in the states of New Jersey and Connecticut.

While the national Delta Dental system has many similar programs, this site describes what programs are available in New Jersey and Connecticut only.

The Delta Dental system is the nation’s oldest and largest provider of group dental benefits and is made up of independently-owned and operated dental service corporations. Delta Dental coverage is available in all 50 states, as well as Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

In New Jersey, Delta Dental of New Jersey sells dental coverage (risk and self-funded) and contracts with participating dentists.

In Connecticut, Delta Dental of New Jersey provides dental coverage for self-funded plans and markets risk coverage for Delta Dental Insurance Company. Participating dentists contract with Delta Dental Insurance Company for risk coverage and with Delta Dental of New Jersey for self-funded coverage.

To keep it simple, in the following pages we will use "Delta Dental " as a reference for Delta Dental of New Jersey for risk and self-funded coverage and in Connecticut for self-funded coverage. We will use "Delta Dental " as a reference for Delta Dental Insurance Company as it relates to risk coverage.
